Transparent LED film screen are an ultra-thin, flexible display technology built on flexible FPC or PET substrates, in which miniature RGB LED chips are directly encapsulated within high-transmittance resin through a bonding process, resulting in a film structure just 2–3 mm thick. The core operating principle relies on precise control of the on/off state of each individual LED pixel to achieve full-color image rendering. The hollow spacing deliberately preserved between the LED emitters, combined with a side-emission design, allows the non-illuminated areas of the screen to maintain a light transmittance of up to 85–95%. When powered on, the display delivers high-definition imagery; when powered off, it becomes nearly invisible.
